![]() ![]() I made this mistake with Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, and that's a brand I love and trust a lot more than this one. I really hope the delays to Ashfall, however good it may end up being, aren't going to represent the future development process. I can't imagine how good this game was in Alpha when before Halloween it was hardly a pitch, much less a playable proof of concept. You only get one first impression, no matter how many phases on testing you have, and most people have had theirs and agreed they'll come back in the future, if at all. I feel the game is too ambitious, and released too early. On Steam there's not many people and for an IP of this size I'd expect a lot more active players. The lack of players that can be in a zone at one time (or so it appears there's a limit) doesn't help, and being cross platform I feel is more dividing than encouraging people to play. In fact it's my love of the game that makes me highlight all its flaws and stomp out fanboyism, lest it affect the game negatively. A handful of the dedicted fans remained.įor all my criticism I really don't want this game to die out. But after 5 months of Artix releasing patch notes of the Ashfall's pushbacks and delays, the community gave up hope. Then all of sudden in the wind of the Adventure Quest 3D website we hear rumours of a comepletely new content patch was in the works! After patch notes upon patch notes, Cysero revealed to us all a video on the new patch, with glimpse of a new area packed full of mobs and interesting scenery. This game was at it's peak early into open-beta, which in all honesty was the games absolute height. As soon as pre-beta hit, this game was rising in popularity! Thriving with players, checking out the brand new game which Artix Entertainment painfully developed after years on development. Back then, the game was doing quite well, especially leading into the Alpha Stages of Adventure Quest 3D. Which has had a lot of people very salty about. Ashfall has been delayed one to many times. However, we are continuing to work on the next section of Nulgath Part 3 and also preparing for the early May releases fourth-coming, and we are looking forward to you playing them in the coming weeks.Do you all honestly think Adventure Quest 3D has a future? After seeing the general player base drastically decline through the last few months, I can honestly say, yes. So, we have to delay our meeting with the Knights of the Iron Bulwark to another date. With all of the developer tools we are working on, we want to be sure they are stable for releasing, and they are not quite there. ![]() ![]() Well, this release relied on the use of new game building tools our team developed and are working to integrate. This will last until next week's release goes Live on either Wednesday (April 26) or Thursday (April 27). PLUS, we've thrown in double Contract of Nulgath rewards for those working on the Nulgath Saga. That means double standard experience and double class experience points. Get Double Experience Points All Week!Since our regularly scheduled release was unable to go out this week, we're giving you a week of double experience points to make up for it. ![]()
